At Carbon Holdings we recognise the vital importance of effective governance.
Effective governance is paramount at Carbon Holdings, where our board, comprised of two executive directors and 12 non-executive directors, brings together a wealth of experience and expertise relevant to the petrochemicals industry and environmental controls. With a focus on achieving long-term objectives, the board diligently monitors our operations, strategy, policies, and risk management. It conducts thorough reviews of external risks and ensures the maintenance of robust risk management and internal control systems, which are evaluated annually.
Responsibilities of the board extend to overseeing acquisitions, divestments, major capital projects, budgets, and dividend policies. Delegating specific tasks to committees such as the Audit, Nominations, and Remuneration Committees, the board ensures seamless integration of their work into company management, guided by principles of transparency, accountability, and regular communication with major shareholders to foster a deep understanding of their perspectives.
